Liquid Shield Wrap is a durable, removable protective coating engineered to defend valuable surfaces while work is being performed nearby or while an asset is exposed to harsh environmental conditions.
For more than 10 years, the technology has been tested and utilized in demanding environments and changing weather conditions. It helps protect against paint overspray, bottom-paint sanding residue, airborne metal particles, ultraviolet exposure, pollution, exhaust residue and other contaminants that can damage or stain finished surfaces.
Unlike a conventional permanent coating, Liquid Shield Wrap is designed to perform its protective job and then be removed when the exposure or work is complete.

The system is designed around a straightforward application and removal process that can fit naturally into professional maintenance and finishing work.

Prepare
Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application. Mask or otherwise protect areas that should not receive the coating.

Apply
Apply Liquid Shield Wrap with a 6-inch or 9-inch foam roller and paint tray. Additional coats can be used in especially dirty environments.

Remove
Once completely dry and protection is no longer needed, lightly brush off the coating, wipe remaining residue and wash the surface normally.
Application Details
Designed for practical field application.
- Application tools: 6-inch or 9-inch foam roller and paint tray
- Drying time: Approximately one hour depending on weather and humidity
- Coverage: Approximately 600–800 square feet per gallon with a 6-inch foam roller
- Thicker applications: Use a 1/4 or 3/8 nap roller
- Sunlight: Can be applied directly in sunlight on white and light-colored surfaces up to 110°F
- Dark surfaces: Apply under shade or cover
Removal Process
When the job is done, the shield comes off.
Liquid Shield Wrap is intended to be removable. Once completely dry, the coating can be brushed away and remaining residue wiped from the surface.
STEP 01
Brush the coating
Use a blue boat brush, gong brush or white terry cloth to lightly brush off the dried coating.
STEP 02
Wipe remaining residue
Use a microfiber cloth to remove remaining material from the protected surface.
STEP 03
Reach difficult areas
Use a paint brush around corners, edges and other areas that require more precise removal.
STEP 04
Wash normally
After removal, wash the surface normally. A leaf blower can be used before wiping to speed up residue removal.
Safety note:
Wear a mask during removal for comfort and safety.
Important Information
A few details make the process easier.
- Areas must be clean and dry before removal.
- If removal is difficult in certain areas, allow additional drying time.
- Rain after application will not affect the coating.
- For extremely dirty environments, a second coat is recommended.
- If any area is accidentally removed, simply reapply.
