OVERVIEW OF WAYNE’S WAX HYDRO FOAMER

Wayne’s Wax Hydro Foamer is a unique low volume hose-end foam gun for diluting and applying  Multi-Layer to any surface. This unit uses standard city water pressure to draw the required amount of Multi-Layer from the attached bottleand blend it into the water stream. The accurately diluted solution flows through the foam wand to create a clinging wet foam which is then projected onto any surface up close or at distances up to 7 feet.

How to set down the foamer

It's recommended to rest the foamer across the top of a 5-gallon pail when you need to set it down while washing. It's just handy to know!

TO OPERATE THE FOAMER

  1. Unscrew the plastic bottle (#709074) on the bottom of the foamer. Install the selected metering tip. Add the Multi-Layer to the plastic bottle and reattach. Do not over tighten. (Refer to page 2 for the correct tip to use.)
  2. Connect the foamer to the hose using the quick-disconnect attached to the foamer.
  3. Hold the foamer in a safe direction and pull the trigger to begin.
  4. When the area of application is complete, release the trigger.
  5. To rinse, use the quick-disconnect that joins the hose to the foamer and remove the foamer. Then attach the supplied pistol-grip water nozzle to the hose and rinse with water. IMPORTANT: Rinse off the Multi-Layer before it dries.

NOTE: Do not disconnect the original pistol-grip water nozzle (GH Gun #320423) attached to the foamer when you rinse. Use ONLY the supplied pistol-grip water-rinsing nozzle #2 on page 3.

WATER PRESSURE (PSI) AND FLOW TIP

  1. Unscrew the plastic bottle (#709074) and connect the suction tube (#473000FT) to the metering tip holder (#491308) without a colored metering tip or Multi-Layer wash.
  2. Connect the supplied PSI gauge to the bottom of the pistol-grip water nozzle (GH-Gun #320423).
  3. Connect the water source to the bottom of the gauge and run ONLY WATER through the  Hydro Foamer. The gauge will automatically determine the PSI.
  4. Remove the PSI gauge, plastic bottle (#70904) and suction tube (#473000). Then use the metering tip driver tool to connect the correct metering tip based on the color chart below. (Do not over tighten!)
  5. Connect the hose directly to the Hydro Foamer and begin washing the boat.
